Our Grant Projects
Aluman-Union Kft. has implemented capacity development investments with the support of the European Union and the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme.
Modernisation begins at the ALUMAN-UNION Kft. site in Szeged
The project is being implemented with the support of the Hungarian State and co-financing from the European Union, within the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme, as a winner of the call for proposals "Supporting the adaptation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to modern business and production challenges in the most disadvantaged regions." The investment is being realised with HUF 65.43 million in non-refundable EU funding under the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme, under project identification number GINOP_PLUSZ-1.2.3-21-2022-00232, titled "Development in the Southern Great Plain — the grant application of Aluman-Union Kft."
The aim of the development was to expand and modernise the site, adding 3 new machines to our equipment: a personnel lift, a diesel-powered forklift, and a telescopic handler with a rotating frame. Three of our colleagues are participating in English language training, made necessary by the growth in international orders, to resolve potential issues arising from language barriers and to ensure full customer service.
This will impact the company's operations in that, through the favourable effect of reduced operating costs on unit costs, we will be able to offer competitive market prices. As a long-term effect, we anticipate further new orders as a result of favourable pricing.
The investment is being realised with HUF 65.43 million in non-refundable EU funding.
